Wicked and Whimsy haul

So I went from over half an hour of raw footage to just under 25mins of edited one, and then had to do some more ruthless chopping to get down to this. I had to be merciless, honestly, othewise I don't think that many of you would've bothered to even start watching, it was that long - never mind whether YouTube would even allow me to upload it! But it's here now, all the items are included, so I hope it doesn't feel too rushed and enjoy the video!

  1. Lovely things you got. Even we have same base colours in wardrobe(ivory & red), you go for things I never think of would buying.
The WW ring was really cool, it does something to working for, rather than buying it.

    1. Ivory and wine is a great classic combination that always works. In general, ivory, wine and navy are my wardrobe colours. :D

    2. If I had third colour, it would be brown or black. But Brown get very boring and auturmy fast as base colour, so it is more a ting I would ad as shoes rather than mainpieces. I feel Black is more promising, even my wardrobe is classic!

    3. True, as nice as brown is, it quickly ends up being chocolate in Sweet coords and Autumn-like in Classic ones. Or at least I'm yet to see someone do, for example, non-chocolate summery or winters brown. I think black can work really well in Classic wardrobe, very elegant yet understated.

  2. I think the default brown shade is rather odd choice. Not really dark as dirt, nor natural light as tan. Have it been a few tones darker, it would be a more natural colour. Old school cords with jewel tones usually does the brown well. But the brown is minor role, rarher than being dominant.

    1. I definitely like the darker browns, even though they only intensify those autumn connotations, it's such a classy shade!

  3. I think even they can be wintery too. I like the darker brown more than the default, only nitpick is then the sun isn't shining, I have telling it from black. Unless I compare both up close.

    1. Oh yeah, definitely. But I found that to be with a lot of really dark colours - if the light is wrong, some of my navy things look pretty black too.

  4. I LOVE that dramatic opening xD That's a really nice haul of indie things. I like that more lesser-known brands are showing up at events, it's really refreshing

    1. It's definitely great. As exciting as it is to meet designers from big famous brands, the smaller ones are just as great and they often open your eyes to things you might not have considered otherwise. :)
