Wardrobe Post 2019

Right on brand, this year I also didn't plan on doing a wardrobe post - yet here I am again. I figured that last year's was good, so let's reuse it and photograph my additions only. Besides, I have used last year's post so much when planning outfits that I know it will be worth the effort.

Despite saying last year that I'd get more red pieces, I ended up adding more blue, white/ivory plus a few oddballs. I also tried out two styles I never thought I'd do: gothic lolita and ouji.

2018 was absolutely amazing. It kicked off with getting my ultimate dream dress, which I never thought I'd get or even fit, then only improved as I attended three large lolita events, two of which were abroad.

My wardrobe goal for 2019 is to get rid of some bits (links to LM where appropriate, check those out for more details), replace others with better versions and finally add more red main pieces. Probably still won't happen, just watch me go on a blue and white impulse buy splurge when I go to Japan.

Promise I ironed it, it just wrinkles like crazy. It's a great fancy, but still sort of blending in kind of piece.

That gobelin fabric is the most gorgeous thing ever. And I love all the pops of sax on this colourway!

The top and straps were meant to be the same colour as the sash, but somehow in production they changed it?

It's such a boob-squisher, and yet I love how flattering this cut is on me!

Technically this probably isn't really lolita. I love this skirt nonetheless and really like Innocent World White's designs.

Got this in a lucky pack last year and I'm still surprised how much I love it, despite the high waist cut. It's so comfy and summery!

The very first Lolita dress I ever bought and I still love it. It's a very versatile piece.

I don't know the official name of it. This piece is one of my most comfortable and I'm sad to have gotten into HeartE just before they closed.

This JSK was a painful lesson in customs in the UK. I love it despite its unpleasant history.

Although it's from the casual range, it still works with Lolita. Shame I received it just as it started to get cold, can't wait to wear it again.

I got this one as a present from my boyfriend for graduating with a 2:1. It has a matching waist ribbon, but I couldn't be bother to dig it out just for the photo.

This was an instant dream dress, but the damn thing appeared just after I spent all my savings on Fantasy Theater. I was lucky to get it later without seling a kidney.
