Innocent World 2017 Special Happy Pack Unboxing

12:00:00
My first ever lucky pack and I was so excited with the whole process. Terrified at times that I'd get a nightmare pack, but also excited. Now I'm on a total lucky pack high and want more, but obviously the season is pretty much gone now, so I'll have to wait either for the summer ones or even until next year.

  1. I really like the jsk, it seems so pretty. I wouldn't personal care so much for resale value, it is from a lucky bag anyway. To shortning a skirt is easiest altering you can do and because it is ancle length you might get eneough to making matching accesory if you wanted to. I am well into resale market to know about full length dresses does as well as short length.

    1. Oh, I'm not bothered by how much I'd get for it, I realise that not many people are after maxi length dresses. But I don't have the skills or the equipment to alter anything, besides, I'm not comfortable with the idea. Hopefully I'll find someone who'll want to trade with me, but if not then I may try to make the best out of the situation and figure out what I could do with it.

    2. I realise I didn't knew about hem was laced or not. In the case it would impossible to find identical or very hard to reuse. I would pretty comfortable to alter it, but I just never get it done(or very slow).

    3. No, the hem isn't laced. It'd be prone to damaging the lace with this length, even if only worn indoors. Maybe if I was head over heels in love with this dress and would never even consider selling it, I'd find it in me to alter the length.

  2. I think the strawberry OP will be perfect for your more retro style - I can see you pulling it off really well! The cut looks perfect for more casual days as well, or picnics (bonus - because it's not tight on the waist you can eat all the sandwiches you want).

The maxi JSK wouldn't be maxi length on me, only just below knee if I'm judging the measurements on lolibrary right, haha. It's a really flattering cut on you from the waist up...but kind of an awkward length in lolita.

    1. That was my thinking as well, that it's a perfect picnic dress. It really, really makes me pray for warm, dry summer so that someone somewhere could organise a Lolita picnic meet and so that I could wear it. Or, well, so that I could wear it all summer long in general, it's just amazing - all the more so as I never would've picked it for myself.

It's such an awkward length for Lolita and just for practical reasons too. I worry that I'd just be stepping on the trim all the time (I'm pretty sure that in my phase of wearing maxi skirts a few years back I had the same issue) or that it'd constantly be getting wet/muddy/dusty/stepped on by others. Real shame because having seen it in person the print grew on me, so if only it had been the other JSK cut it'd be an all round 10/10 lucky pack.
